More Stuff

Hi Everyone,

We have been catching it from some of the kids because we don't update the blog. Well here we go. We have been a bit busy, but have had some time to go to SLC and make sure that Camille and Shayne were OK with their surgeries. What a blessing for it to be such a success.

We were able to spend some time with the kids which was great. It is always fun to the grandkids.

We took some time and went up Smith's Fork today to cut some firewood. There was a foot of snow on Commissary ridge, so with that in mind I felt we should try and make our way over the top. Vandi was not too impressed with the snow/ice on the road and cliffs off to the side. We made it over, found some wood and came home.

Tony's Fall

Tony just finished his football season last friday with an overtime win over Evanston. He had a great year. He was successful hunting as well. He got his first deer, then the next weekend was successful hunting antelope. Sorry Jordan for the dead animal shots.

Fun Photos

We have had Sami at the house for the past couple of days. She and Vandi have been going through some of the photo albums and reprinting some of the photos. We thought you guys might get a kick out of some of the pics.

Levi and Katie

Vandi and I were able to attend Levi and Katie's wedding in Salt Lake. It was great to see all the family again. Levi is Dean and Deb's boy. The couple will be living in Rexburg and will attend BYU Idaho.

Family update

Well here we are in wild and wonderful Wyoming. Our daughter in law Jordan inspired us all to set up these blogs for our families to keep in touch. We loved seeing the updates from them as they attend school in Iowa, so we decided to set up a site for our family in SV. We are all extremely busy these days with Tony in High school, Megan in Middle school and Mikey in elementary it is the usual rat race.

To add to the excitement I was recently called to be the Bishop of our ward. It has been an adjustment for all, but actually very enjoyable.

We will try and keep you up to date with some additions to this site.

Introduction

Well here we go. With the encouragement of our children we thought we would start this blog. It seemed like a good way to stay in touch with everyone. You will have to bear with us as we learn how this whole thing works. We just took some shots of our grandson this past weekend. So we will try and post them.
